About Us

Meet the team behind Printago. We build cloud-based tools to help 3D print farms scale operations, automate workflows, and grow their businesses.

Our Mission

Our goal is to automate as much of the 3D printing workflow as possible for the businesses that run on it. That means handling every repetitive step for you: taking an order, slicing and printing it, clearing the bed, and everything after, from reporting to cost breakdowns to the real profit on each job.

Creators create, sellers sell, printers print. Printago handles everything in between, so your team can spend its time making and selling instead of babysitting machines.

How Printago Started

Printago started with cookie cutters. Matt was selling personalized cutters online, and every order meant handcrafting the customer's text by hand in Fusion 360, then slicing each model for whatever printer was free at the time, one order at a time. It worked, but it did not scale.

Noah was sure there had to be an easier way. He found OpenSCAD, converted the designs over to it, and built an automation pipeline around it: Printago renders the OpenSCAD, saves the model, matches it to an available printer, slices it for that specific machine, and sends it straight to the bed. No CAD work, no manual slicing, no per-order busywork.

From there, we set out to build a platform other people could benefit from too, one that helps any business automate the way we automated ours.

What We Believe

Automate everything

If a step in your workflow can be automated, it should be. That sometimes takes a little upfront configuration, setting up profiles, rules, and pipelines once, but after that the system does the repetitive work for you. Set it up once, then reap the rewards on every job that follows.

G-code is an artifact, not a file to manage

Hand-managing G-code is painful across a mixed fleet, where every model needs its own, and multi-material printing makes it worse: flushing volumes mean a different file for every color combination. You should manage your models and 3MFs, and let the system generate the right instructions for whichever printer runs the job.

Personalization is the point

A 3D printer is not an injection mold. It can make almost anything, so spending it on the same part over and over barely scratches what it can do. We make it effortless to turn one design into endless personalized variations, so every order can be unique with no extra work per order.

Scale with our users

Connect every printer you own for free, and start on a free tier that includes your first production slot. Slot-based pricing follows the throughput you actually use, so you are never penalized for growing your fleet or your business.

Noah Santorello

co-founder

Noah studied computer science at Cornell, specializing in computer graphics. Over 15+ years he has built a real-time FX trading platform for Citi, Z-Wave automation software deployed in hotels, real-time data visualization systems for Formula E racing, mobile apps for Home Depot and PwC, and cloud infrastructure for numerous large enterprises.

He founded and sold a software consulting firm, spent years deep in cloud architecture and security, and has a long history of building developer tools, scripting languages, and internal frameworks that make teams more productive. That same obsession with good tooling is what drives Printago.

Matt has a background in computer science and started his journey with 3D printing using a Makerbot Replicator (the wooden one!). During lockdowns, he began selling 3D prints online and quickly realized the significant gaps in the functionality provided by commercial print farm software.

Join the Community

Printago is built alongside a community of operators who run real farms. Our Discord is where makers and businesses share workflows, troubleshoot hardware, swap profiles, and tell us what to build next. It is the fastest way to reach the team, and most new features start as a conversation there.

Whether you run one printer or three hundred, you are welcome. Come ask a question, show off a build, or help someone else get unstuck.

Where We're Headed

Automation is the start. Our vision extends to trust-based distributed manufacturing, a network where production can happen anywhere, close to the customer, on whatever capacity is available, with the trust and coordination to make it dependable.

We ship constantly and build in the open, so you can follow what we have shipped and where we are headed, and help steer it.
