Five Queue States

Every job moves through clearly defined states in Printago. Queued jobs wait for printer assignment based on material and tag requirements. In-Progress shows actively printing jobs with real-time statistics. Completed jobs finished successfully. Cancelled shows user-stopped jobs. Errored contains jobs that failed during slicing or printing, including HMS errors that halt production.

Automatic Printer Matching

Jobs route themselves to compatible printers without manual intervention. The queue considers material type requirements from exact variants like Bambu Basic PLA Red to generic types like Any PLA. Printer availability checks for online, connected, and marked ready status. Custom printer tags ensure jobs only go to designated machines. The system processes jobs from top to bottom while continuously checking for newly available printers.

Material Matching Intelligence

Specify materials at any level of detail and the queue handles the rest. Set exact color variants when appearance matters. Use base materials like Bambu Basic PLA to match any color of that material. Choose generic types like Any PLA for maximum printer availability. Parts requiring specific materials wait for exact matches while flexible requirements route to any compatible printer.

Production Slot Management

Your subscription's production slots determine how many jobs Printago actively manages simultaneously. Jobs started outside Printago don't consume slots but still appear on your dashboard. When slots are full, new jobs queue automatically until space opens. Completed, cancelled, or errored jobs immediately free their slots for waiting jobs.

HMS Event Handling

Bambu Lab printer HMS events integrate directly with queue management. HMS warnings that pause printing like filament runout keep jobs in the In-Progress tab for easy resumption. HMS errors that halt printing automatically move jobs to the Errored tab. Each HMS event links directly to Bambu Lab's documentation for quick resolution.

Interactive Job Management

Click any job thumbnail to see an interactive 3D preview including OpenSCAD output. Download generated STL files from OpenSCAD parts directly. Access sliced GCODE after jobs are assigned to printers. Drag and drop queued jobs to reorder priorities. Use bulk actions to cancel, retry, or clear multiple jobs at once.

Printer Matching Diagnostics

Every queued job includes a Printer Matching dialog showing exactly why jobs aren't assigning. See which printers were checked and specific reasons for rejection. Common issues like missing materials, wrong tags, or printers not marked ready are clearly identified. No more guessing why jobs are stuck in queue.

Multi-Part SKU Handling

SKUs with multiple parts queue each component separately while tracking as a complete order. Individual parts route to different printers based on material requirements. Monitor overall SKU completion across distributed printing. Perfect for products with multiple colors or materials.
